For quite a long time, I have viewed at myself as a people’s person based on my previous Ethical Lens Inventory thinking. As it can be observed from a vast range of scopes analyzed in this text, my most favorite ethical lens view point is referred to the basic reputational lens. From this lens, I can easily use my intuition as a determining factor to the observable type of character traits. Besides, a greater aspect of these traits can well be captured in a community set up based on service.
With the help of this Ethical Lens Inventory, I came to learn that my main blind spot capitalizes on unrealistic role expectations. From my daily life, I usually feel very disappointed whenever people fail to perform tasks they ought to. Based on the fact that these tasks are assigned and should be done within the stipulated time, I normally feel a lot of disappointment whenever the assigned activities are not properly completed. I believe that all individuals who do not complete their assignments as stipulated by their instructors fall under the lazy category of people. Strictly, my expectations are banked on roles and titles possessed by individuals. As a factor of concern, it appears quite difficult for me to consider external influences and recall fallibility of all people.
My strengths in this case normally extend to cover more about fortitude and a greater extent of compassion. I am usually resilient whenever faced with any form of obstacle and would try all possible ways to overcome such issues. It is quite easy for me to find myself identifying amid people charged with similar tasks as I do. To a greater extent, I am frequently drawn to such people with much vigor and drive. Based on my greater campaign for equality, I normally demonstrate a greater compassion for the discriminated members of the society. I basically care about all community based agendas with more focus on specific individuals.
Additionally, I have various weaknesses based on my commitment to responsibilities. The first weakness realized in my life is confusion especially whenever a new role is introduced in my jury. Any attempt to change roles would always impose a lot of confusion in my life pegged to the vast number of ideologies. I am seeing this aspect of confusion in my current personal life. I live with both of my parents under specifically defined roles of monitoring all our premises sanitary status. Since this year started my mother had to be transferred on job grounds to the neighborhood town. In order to adjust to all the home activities, I switched to serve in the kitchen. As a result of all these happenings, I have faced a lot of confusions based on my new roles. I find it quite hard to format my mind set up for any new order of events within my obligations.
My core values include sensitivity and equality. These two main values allow me strive to a truthful level of people’s treatment and the entire community at large. Additionally, these values have enabled me show respect to all forms of humanity. I also strive to follow all my attributes mentioned even when others instill greater oppositions. Furthermore, I usually identify with the less fortunate group of people in the society. To these people, I show mercy in all manners of concern. I am frequently drawn to such people with much vigor and drive so to help them to realize their rightful positions in the society. Based on my greater campaign for equality, I normally demonstrate a greater compassion for the discriminated members of the society. I basically care about all community based agendas with more focus on specific individuals.
