They utilize these data to ensure that students are molded into responsible individuals who are able to offer effective leadership in the future. Students form the largest part of the school. They receive and utilize data, relating to academic performance and school activities. The school activities are specifically defined, relating to date, time, and place. The students have to adhere to the guidelines of the data and correct on their weaker areas in order to achieve the targets, set by the school. The data would offer them guidance on how to behave while at school. Parents are other vital data consumers. They receive and utilize data, relating to the performance of their children, the conduct of their children, and significant parents meetings. The data enable them to work closely with teachers in order to ensure that the students are on their right track and are determined to deliver the best performance. The board of directors, which governs the activities of the school, receives and utilizes data, relating to the development projects the school is undertaking and the number of students in the school. Thus, it utilizes such data to plan for the school and develop it further.
Administrators rely on various types of data in their efforts to support decision making in faculties, courses, and students. The data helps them get the facts on the exact courses of action they are supposed to pursue in order to ensure that the appropriate sectors are on an upward trend. Data on the availability of resources, used in various faculties and courses, would enable the administrators make decisions, relating to the acquisition of more facilities to facilitate leaning in the institutions.

Informal relation of data could only occur, where the parties involved are extremely close. This type of data is deficient in the sense that it misleads the whole school and, sometimes, lowering the tempo. The school suffers from data hacking.
This makes data that is used within the school to lose the secrecy. It is widely exposed to other individuals who are likely to cause damage to the entire institution. This means that the data cannot be used again for vital internal decisions because individuals who do not form part of the school know it. These could be enemies planning to pull down the performance of the school. Data within the school is exposed to distortion. This makes it deficient because the exact meaning is lost. Distortion is common in situations, where data is being communicated from one person to another via word of mouth. The entire statement is understood the opposite way and the original meaning is lost. The deficiencies make the data that is communicated within the school unreliable in some instances. In cases, where vital data has been exposed to unauthorized individuals, alterations have to be made, hence, delaying the process of decision-making within the institution. Details, relating to the information, have to be altered in some instances, to make it acceptable and usable for decision-making within the school. Distortion makes it difficult for data consumers to get a clear meaning of what is being communicated. This renders the whole process of communication and implementation of decisions difficult.
