How to Boil an Egg

A perfect egg should have no green color, and it shouldn’t be pale yellow. To boil eggs with excellence, take a pot that has enough room to hold the required number of eggs without them touching each other. On the other hand, make sure that you don’t use a pot so big that eggs can move in it freely. Fill the pot with the water to cover the eggs a little bit. When the water boils, add eggs one by one delicately. After 8 minutes take them out and keep adding the cold water into the pot until the eggs are cold. That’s what I call perfectly boiled eggs.

How to Make an Omelette

The most important thing about an omelette is that it shouldn’t be brown. To make an omelette, take a little pan and melt some butter in it. While butter is being melted, put eggs into a bowl, add pepper and salt and mix them. When you hear that butter sizzle, pour the mix that you’ve just prepared into the pan. Use a wooden spoon to break up any curds that may form while you’re cooking an omelette. When you see that there’s only some runny egg left on the top of the omelette, remove the pan from the range and put it under the grill. An omelette should be grilled until the top is dry. Remember that it shouldn’t be brown. When ready, fold it in half and slide on to the plate. That’s what I call a perfect omelette.

How to Cook Pasta

The best cooking tricks are incomplete without a decent pasta recipe. Take a large pot, half fill it with the water and add salt to make the water taste like the sea. When the water boils, add pasta. Give it some stir from time to time, it shouldn’t stick together. See instructions on the packet to find out how much time it should be cooked. If pasta is soft on the outside and has a firm centre, it is ready. Mix it with enough tomato sauce, butter, and, of course, parmesan. That is original pasta.
